Press Release “The Unbiased Journal”

You have probably noticed that when looking for impartial news on Google the most common “People Also Ask” (PAA) questions are about which sources are the most reliable for finding unbiased news. This is because, like you, many people are searching for a trustworthy source of information that provides unbiased insights without any hidden agendas.

Check it out!

It is easy to see how traditional news sources adopt a political orientation, some are very obvious, while others are less so. This is the scale on which news can be categorized:

The danger of biased news is that it can affect people’s subconscious by implanting ideas that are not naturally their own or even changing their moods. Unfortunately, many people have chosen to avoid reading the news due to the misinformation and, even worse, the hate and stigmatization perpetuated by the media. The reading public faces multiple challenges in getting reliable information, including clickbait, fake news, bias, racism, sexism, and more.

In 2022, a study by the Reuters Institute at Oxford University considered the most comprehensive global study of news consumption trends, shows that 49% of respondents selectively avoid the news, with this number inversely proportional to the age of the selected segment, i.e. the younger the age of the segment, the higher the percentage of people who avoid the news.

So, what can people who wish to be conscientious citizens do to keep themselves informed?

We cannot change the media system, but we can provide tools to those who seek to understand the news without bias, and that is where our project The Unbiased News was born, a project that presents real information from a wide variety of sources across the internet obtained with the help of AI.

That said, we invite all the curious, enthusiasts, amateurs, professionals, students, and more. to read and inform themselves well, and to ask questions without the media telling them what to think or how to act.

In any case, don’t join that 49% of society that claims to avoid the news, and it is not a good idea, to use social networks as a source of information. The challenge is to get more and more people of all generations to join this cause of having less polarized and better-informed countries for the common good.
